Born and raised in Kemptville, Ontario, I’ve always had a deep love for my community. My journey into entrepreneurship was driven by a desire to balance family life with my passion for beauty and wellness while creating a space where women can feel confident, cared for, and empowered.
With over 16 years of experience in the dental field, including 13 years as a registered dental hygienist, I’ve helped hundreds of clients feel confident in their smiles. I continue to work as a hygienist in the Kemptville area while combining my dental expertise with my passion for beauty through Smile & Glo, a private studio offering professional teeth whitening and luxury spray tanning in Kemptville, Merrickville, and the surrounding communities.
Before my career in dentistry, I worked in a tanning salon and fell in love with the confidence that comes from a beautiful glow. After experiencing a personal skin cancer scare, I became committed to providing safer alternatives that help clients look and feel their best without the risks of UV exposure. That experience inspired me to create Smile & Glo—a boutique beauty studio specializing in custom spray tans, bridal spray tanning, mobile spray tanning, and professional teeth whitening.
As a 3x advanced-certified spray tan artist, I take pride in creating natural, customized results for every skin tone and occasion. My advanced spray tan training was hands on, not taught online! I’ve completed advanced training by U Glow Girl and Bronzed by B, mastered the best blending techniques, and use a wide range of the high quality solutions. I also provide thorough prep/post tan instructions to ensure you will love your spray tan!

2. What can I expect during a spray tan appointment?
Every spray tan appointment begins with a personalized consultation to assess your skin tone and discuss your glo goals, ensuring a perfectly customized tan just for you. I offer a wide range of regular (8-12 hour rinse) and rapid (2-5 hour rinse) solutions, carefully selected and blended across premium brands to create a truly tailored experience.
The entire process takes about 20 minutes from start to finish. After choosing the perfect solution for your skin type, I provide a luxurious silk robe for your comfort before and after your tan. The session starts with a pH-balancing prep spray to ensure your skin is at the ideal pH level for flawless results, followed by the application of barrier cream to protect dry areas. The spray tan itself takes just 10 minutes, during which I guide you through poses as I airbrush your glo. To finish, I apply a setting powder to safeguard your tan during its development period and carefully blend out areas like hands and feet for a seamless look.
Before you leave, we’ll go over aftercare instructions to help you maintain your glo. While you’ll receive detailed prep and maintenance guidance ahead of your appointment, it’s most important that your skin is perfectly clean, bare, dry, and exfoliated prior to your session for the best results.

3. What can I expect during a teeth whitening appointment?
Every teeth whitening appointment includes a thorough consultation to assess your teeth and ensure there are no contraindications to treatment. At Smile & Glo, we customize every whitening session to suit your unique needs, ensuring the best possible results.
The process begins with isolating your lips and gum tissues to protect them during treatment. We then apply a high-grade whitening gel, followed by activating it with a state-of-the-art LED accelerator for 15 minutes. After each session under the LED light, the gel is removed, and the process is repeated—up to two times per treatment. In just one 60-minute session, you can achieve a smile that’s 4-12 shades lighter, with little to no sensitivity.
While no specific preparation is required before your treatment, results are typically enhanced following a dental checkup and cleaning. A touch-up is recommended every 3-6 months, but results can last longer depending on your daily habits, such as drinking coffee, red wine, or tea, or smoking. After your treatment, you should avoid eating or drinking anything except water for one hour, and avoid staining agents for 24 hours to maintain your bright new smile.

7. What do you need for a mobile appointment?
Enjoy the ultimate convenience with everything you need for your spray tan or teeth whitening experience brought directly to you! Whether you’re at home, a hotel, your workplace, or any other location, I ensure a relaxing and hassle-free experience tailored to your needs. I can travel anywhere but mainly service Kemptville, Merrickville, Prescott, Winchester and surrounding areas.
For spray tanning, all I require is a power outlet, a light source, and about 6 feet of space to set up my spray tan tent, machine, and workspace—even garages can work perfectly!
For teeth whitening, I need a power outlet, a light source, and seating for both you and me.
I’m comfortable working around pets, children, and even the occasional bothersome spouse! I leave no mess behind and am in and out quickly, so you can get back to relaxing with your beautiful glo or brighter smile

8. WHAT WOULD MAKE ME NOT AN IDEAL TEETH WHITENING CANDIDATE AT THIS TIME?
- If you have been told by your primary dental provider that you have gingivitis, moderate/severe recession and/or periodontal disease
- Braces on the front side of your teeth or Invisalign attachments (book once these appliances are off!)
- If you have any large untreated cavities/broken teeth or loose fillings
- If you have not had your teeth cleaned by your hygienist or dental professional recently. The less build up on your teeth the better results you will get!
- If you have fillings/veneers or crowns on your front teeth a whitening session can still be completed, but we will have to consult as these materials will not whiten with the teeth
